Half Season Player of the Year Poll

According to our Poll, Jon Walters is unsurprisingly your choice as the player of the season so far.

Walters received 274 votes, beating Pablo Counago on 175. Little surprises there at all, with Walters having a fantastic season so far and Pablo seemingly improving by the week. Owen Garvan came third, a good performance even though I suspect most would agree he hasnt reached top form yet this season.

However, its fair to say that the last month has probably seen Pablo as our outstanding performer, so it will be curious to see how their form develops over the remainder of the season. Certainly, Walters form looks like it could be largely dependent on how successful Jim Magilton is in securing a new left midfielder in the transfer market, allowing Walters to return to his more accustomed right-midfield role.

The full results were as follows:

Walters 274

Counago 175

Garvan 33

DeVos 16

Wright 14

Lee 8
